“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:3

Jesus’ invitation to become like children reminds us that children, with their natural stance of wonder and curiosity toward the world, are a treasure for the entire community. Children are full and essential members of the body of Christ and welcome to participate fully in the life of the parish.

The parish has materials for children to use during the service, including crayons and religious focused coloring books. We have also set up a children's area in our Parish Hall.

Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in baptism or confirmation for your children.

Attending Mass with Children

Mass is central to our shared life together. No matter how squirmy, children are welcome participants at Mass. By celebrating the Mass with the community, children come to know themselves as the full members of the body of Christ that they are. Children, like the community, are shaped by the prayers of the Mass. Parents may consider helping their little ones follow along and encourage them to sing no matter the words or sounds they offer joyfully. For parents getting used to having their little ones with them at prayer, we offer a parents corner next to the organ.

Advent: Season of Wonder

Take a moment each evening to light the candles of Advent and share the journey of Advent together as a household. These four videos present the story and questions to wonder about together.
