How is Good Friday observed?
While its name suggests joy, Good Friday is traditionally a day of profound, somber reflection. It is a time for us to solemnly honor the sacrifice of Jesus and the depth of his love. At Saint Monica and Saint James, we observe this holy day through a quiet and reflective liturgy. Together, we will experience the singing of the Passion, hear the ancient lessons of Scripture, and uphold the sacred traditions of the day. All are welcome to join us in this space of prayer and remembrance.
